Incredible! Day old baby crowned Prince of Igbodo,Enters Guinness Book Of Records

baby king

IGBODO kingdom in Delta State has made history and entered the Guinness Book of Records by becoming the community with the youngest monarch after a one day old baby was crowned its king yesterday. In an unprecedented development, kingmakers in Igbodo in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, crowned the young prince monarch yesterday. He was crowned just a few hours after his birth within the hospital environment to forestall any succession controversy in future. Named Ugochukwu, the baby was crowned by the leader of a delegation from the Igbodo palace at St Luke’s Hospital Asaba, where he was delivered. Igbodo elders decided on that course of action to address the succession issue once and for all and end the succession disputes that have dogged their community for years.

Ugochukwu was delivered on Wednesday night and by yesterday morning he was crowned king. Chief Eugene Iyeke of the ruling house of Igbodo led the delegation to Asaba with members of the Obi-in-council and notable indigenes. Obi Ikechukwu Osedume I, the Obi of Igbodo, succumbed to the wishes of his people by formally marrying an indigene of the community in accordance to the native law and custom early in October last year. His wife, called Onyinyechukwu, a native of Igbodo, bore the boy that was crowned yesterday morning.

Adultry Saga: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s wife files for divorce in London court

Omg! It seems theirs big trouble in the house of Christ Embassy/Love World Ministry founder Pastor Chris Oyakhilome....a report by The Cable, confirms that the dissolution of the marriage between Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Rev. Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome is imminent.

The report states that Pastor Chris wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”. She outlined several allegations against the pastor which cannot publish for legal reasons. The divorce case, with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK, on Anita’s behalf by Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors, a full-service law firm with expertise in commercial law and a strong consumer focus in family, wills and estate, personal injury law and medical negligence. Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has branches all over world, have failed. They have two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn."

Oyakhilome is the president of Believers’ Love World Inc, the registered name of the Christian ministry, while his wife is the vice-president. The pastor, according to an elder of the church, has denied allegations of adultery and believes his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who are intent on destroying their home. While Anita believes she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry. Sources told The Cable that the pastor had been making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that the wife would eventually have a change of mind. However, the decree nissi was served on the charismatic pastor in his hotel room during a recent visit to the UK. Decree nissi, in legal terms, is like a yellow card in a football match which is a precursor to a red card (“decree absolute”) if no new evidence is provided to stall proceedings. Church insiders said Oyakhilome had been hoping for rapprochement, but he was left with no option than to receive the papers when the lawyers cornered him at his hotel in London. The decree absolute, which will effectively end the marriage, is expected to be issued soon while terms of the divorce will be worked out by the lawyers on both sides.

I am not Maheeda’s sex toy –Ruggedman

  Ruggedman
Controversial singer, Maheeda, is known mostly for posting raunchy pictures of herself and erotic messages on her social media pages. Few days ago, a picture of famous rapper, Ruggedman, and Maheeda surfaced online (pic below) and it sparked comments from fans. Some of the fans described the rapper as the singer’s new play toy.

But in a chat with Saturday Beats, Rugeddybaba (as he is also called) debunked the rumours, saying the two of them have been close friends for a long time.

He said, “I am not Maheeda’s sex toy. I have known Maheeda since 2007 and we have been friends for a very long time, so there is no amorous relationship between us. The picture surfaced because I want her to do something for my clothing line, 20th September wears. She came to an office close to my house and I told her to drop by to pick up the tops because she was leaving for Holland. That is the only thing I gave her- clothes.”

The rapper, who had been away from limelight for a while, said he was shocked that his new single, Agidi, featuring Wande Coal has been enjoying massive airplay. He added that he was back for business.

“Currently, I put out my new song, Agidi, which trended on the internet for a while. I was shocked when the song trended because I was away from the music scene for a while and when I got back with a song, it trended. I am working on shooting the video and also re-launching my clothing line,” he said.

Read: ISIS threatens United States- 'Pull out of Iraq or we shall behead them all'

Kurds
Hours after shocking world with desert execution of 300 Syrian soldiers, ISIS parade Kurds dressed in Guantanamo-style suits, behead one and promise to kill them all unless U.S. pulls out of Iraq according to a report by UKDailyMail.

Islamic State have released a new decapitation video, threatening America for the second time and urging the Kurds to break from their alliance with the West against the caliphate. The chilling video shows footage of 15 Kurdish soldiers all dressed in orange boilers suits (main picture). It then cuts to one of the prisoners kneeling before three masked jihadists (right), who warn America to cease its support of the Kurdish people. They warn they will continue beheading more of the prisoners if America and the Iraqi Kurdistan continue to work together, before unsheathing a knife and killing the kneeling prisoner. The terrifying execution comes just hours after 300 captured Syrian soldiers were executed in the desert (inset).

Olamide is not my rival +I wasn’t credited for writing Goldie’s hit song – Rap star, Reminisce

                   ReminisceReminisce
Indigenous rap, no doubt, is one of the most preferred music genres in Nigeria today and Remilekun Shafaru, better known as Reminisce, is one of the poster boys, alongside the likes of Olamide and Phyno, leading a thriving campaign to spread it across the globe.

Famous for his versatility and the street appeal of his songs, Reminisce was the only rapper from Africa mentioned in TIME Magazine’s recent ‘One of the seven world rappers you should meet’ list. He earned this recognition a few months after he had dropped his second album titled, Alaga Ibile. Many music fans, who had always known him as a very reserved and under-celebrated rap artiste in the country, were practically speechless with surprise when the news was broken.
Even Reminisce himself learnt of this single honour while travelling to neighbouring Ghana by air.

He tells E-Punch, “I got to know about the listing by TIME magazine on my way to Ghana. I didn’t influence it. I only saw a statement posted on Twitter by the chief executive of Chocolate City, Audu Maikori. I didn’t pay much attention to it and all the while, I wondered what business I had with the magazine. By the time my plane landed in Ghana, the congratulatory messages began to pour in. I don’t even follow those who sent them on Twitter. But, being the only African listed by Time Magazine is something else.”

For the light-skinned rapper, the road to stardom was fraught with challenges. At one point, he was forced to leave home because his father wanted him to become a medical doctor.

Recounting his humble beginning and how frustration almost drove him to quit music, the 31-year-old Samsung brand Ambassador says, “It’s true that I almost quit music four months before my fortune improved. I became a star around late 2011, after I released Kako Bi Chicken. The video of that song was released around the period that Nigerians were protesting against the removal of fuel subsidy. I had just become a father at that time and I realized that I couldn’t continue the same way.

“I almost quit music because I wasn’t making any money. You know, money controls the industry today, unlike the past when talent did.”

Reminisce owes his versatility in Yoruba to his father’s insistence that he must learn to speak the language. Often pitched against Olamide, the artiste, who studied Purchasing and Supply at the Kwara State Polytechnic, simply regards the latter as his ‘partner in progress.’

“Olamide and I have always complemented and supported each other’s career. We don’t see each other as rivals. We have been able to change the image of indigenous rappers and as sensible people, the only thing to do is to support each other and improve the genre. Only the fans can tell who is a better rapper. At the end of the day, the issue is not about who is better, but who is successful.”

The artiste, who once hawked second-hand clothes and shoes at the popular Yaba Market, adds, “I wrote the hit song, Don’t Touch my Body for late Goldie and was never credited. But, it is okay. There are many songs you write and don’t get credited for. I don’t really care about such things, neither do I like to complain or bear grudges. I don’t really want to reveal or speak about others.”

Reacting to the display of wealth by some of his colleagues on social media, he says, “I am a very reserved artiste. I am able to differentiate between Reminisce the artiste and Remi the family man. That is why I don’t promote luxury. There is nothing I need that I can’t afford, but I am not going to show off on social media. When artistes do such a thing, they appear superficial and unapproachable to their fans. Instead, I simply invest in people.”

Reminisce notes that loyalty is one virtue that is absent in the global entertainment scene. “One reason why I don’t have friends is because nobody is willing to see you take their spot. The moment you become a star, a lot of people will be unhappy. But they will smile with you,” he says.

Although the rapper, who was discovered alongside Jahbless, 9ice, Lord Of Ajasa and Olamide by ID Cabasa, was blessed with a second child early in the week, he appears to be in no hurry to walk down the aisle.

“Yes, we live together. But we have issues with commitment. I think we are not ready for marriage yet. We will formalize things when the right time comes. I am still planning my future because I am not going to be a musician forever. I will quit music, maybe after a decade. I hope to also study Political Science overseas because I want to go into politics (House of Representatives) at some point as well,” he notes.

Popular Celebrity Marriage Breakups in Nollywood – How and Why they Happened

Nigeria movie industry has witnessed various celebrities in marital chaos. Most of them, very heartbreaking and disappointing to their fans.
funke-akindele-stella-damasus
Here are the popular marriage breakups that shocked and rocked Nollywood:
Funke Akindele
Funke-Akindele-Iroko-TV2-620x930
Funke’s marriage to Alhaji Almaroof crashed barely after a year. Almaroof, the man who stole Funke’s heart last year, swept her off her feet and landed her in the altar, has become a serial baby daddy, keeping a string of affairs, and even returning to the women he had prior to the celebrity wedding with Funke Akindele, it was only a matter of time before it was all out in the air. [One of them then said, "it's over"]
Eucharia Anunobi:
Eucharia-Anunobi5
Although, Eucharia wanted her marriage with Charles Ekwu to last, the ex-hubby had other plans as he depended on the actress for his own welfare and that of the family until he was caught red-handed making love to their 13 year-old house girl.
Laide Bakare:
Laide-bakare-new
The story of Laide Bakare’s separation from her ex-husband has remained a puzzle for many reasons. This is because of the fact that the more she tries to exonerate herself, the messier the situation she found herself as her ex has refused to let go of the matter. Similar to the Lola Alao case, ex husband has said terrible things about Laide.
Mbong and Jeta Amata:
The separation before the eventual divorce was very evident. There was no secret about the break up on the social media. Jeta was open about the whole affair and in fact, he sent out releases and posted on Facebook the reasons the relationship could no longer continue and the inevitable collapse.
Ayo Adesanya and Goriola Hassan:
Ayo-Adesanya-650x400
Their marriage crashed abruptly, Goriola who did not hesitate to make his regrets in marrying the actress known publicly some months back described his marriage to Ayo as boarding a ‘one-chance’ vehicle and that if not for the sake of the child they had together, he would have revealed many dirty secrets about her.
Monalisa Chinda and Dejo Richards:
Monalisa-Chinda-Stuns-at-Fayrouz-L'original-event-YabaLeftOnlineBlog-01
Monalisa shocked her fans when she announced years back that she has left her marriage over domestic violence and abuse. Practically ran for her life, which sparked controversial war of words between Dejo and Mr Kool (Monalisa’s Uncle). Dejo Richards has since been married several times to different women.
Stephanie Okereke Marriage to Chikelue Iloanus:
stephanie okereke
But she parted ways with her footballer husband – they only got married in 2004 and divorced in 2007. There were accusations of infidelity. Iloanusi also blamed his mother-in-law too.
Lola Alao:
Lola Alao’s former husband has said several things about her in the media. Dare, a renowed car dealer said he was under diabolic influence when he married her and claimed she is a fetish being. She is however married again. Doris Simeon and Daniel Ademonikan:
The duo’s separation generated so much controversy and fingers were pointed at various people in the entertainment industry as cause of their break up. They have a son together and they have both moved on with their lives
Fred Amata and Agatha Amata:
Fred Amata and Agatha Amata’s breakup shook the industry as well. The marriage produced two kids and Fred moved over to actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima, and the affair, which produced a baby girl, failed.
Foluke Daramola:
This cross over actress was married to Tunde Sobowale, son of former Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Professor Sobowale. A few years after the crash of that marriage, Foluke is now remarried to Mr. Kayode Salako.
Regina Askia:
Regina Askia was briefly married to a moneybag, Charles Orie, but she dumped him for American Ruddy Williams.
Fathia and Saheed Balogun:
Fathia and Saheed
When the relationship between Yoruba star actor, Saheed Balogun and his erstwhile wife, Fathia hit the rocks following allegations of infidelity. Many fans of these actors were pained at their separation. Fathis recently said she is still ‘legally’ married to Saheed, though separated.
Shan George:
shan-george-1
Shan first got married as a teenager but left the marriage after giving birth to two boys. She later married a US-based guy, Tony Nwosisi, but she later found out that the man was married to another woman who had given him children at the time of his marriage to Shan, so she decided to quit the marriage for good.
Stella Damasus:
stella-damasus-engaged.jpg
Stella and Emeka Nzeribe didn’t stay up to a year in their marriage to the consternation of fans. The union crashed after nine months like a still-birth.
Kate Henshaw:
kate-henshaw-13
Kate and her British ex, Rod Nuttal shocked fans with their separation after about 10 years of marriage, which produced a daughter.
Anne Njemanze and Segun Arinze:
Fans were elated when the then very beautiful Ann married Segun but were shocked when Anne left the marriage, which broke Arinze’s heart. The marriage produced a daughter who is about 17 years now.
Jibola Dabo and Binta Mogaji:
Their union crashed over accusation of infidelity. Binta had accused Jibola of bringing various women into the matrimonial home.

Ebola: Dogs Eating Corpses Of Ebola Victims In Liberia – Residents Claim

 http://www.shagarinews.blogspot.com

Residents of Johnsonville Township, outside Monrovia in Liberia are claiming that dogs are digging up the corpses of Ebola victims buried in shallow graves in Liberia and eating them in the streets.

Though security personnel guarding the area have refuted this, the residents insist it’s been happening for days…that wild dogs have been going to the ‘Ebola graveyard’ in Johnsonville, digging up corpses, dragging them into the open and feeding on their flesh.

They are blaming government health officials who hurriedly bury Ebola victims after they die in shallow graves at night.

Now the residents fear that the dogs could pass the virus to humans.

Dear LIB readers: spontaneous sex is impossible for my hubby, why?

http://www.shagarinews.blogspot.com
From a female LIB reader spontaneous
My husband and I have a good sex life, the only problem is that he can only get it up when it's planned or he initiated it. Whenever I catch him off guard and initiate sex, he's unable to get it up. I don't know how to better explain it but here's what I mean. At night in bed he can make love to me, or whenever he comes to me and says he's horny he can get it up but if I go to him when he's not expecting it, or whenever I try to seduce him without us first talking about it, he can not get hard enough to have sex. Are there other men who experience this? Is this normal with some men?

Ogun State Government Bans Student Union Government At Olabisi Onabanjo University

In the newest chapter of the ongoing drama between the Ogun State government and Olabisi Onabanjo University students, a press release today from the acting registrar announced that the Student Union Government (SUG) has been banished indefinitely from the University. The University decided to ban the SUG for its relationship with unrecognized groups and outside influences.
Campus of Olabisi Onabanjo University
Campus of Olabisi Onabanjo University "The Student Union Government has been proscribed forthwith for collaborating with unregistered group and external influences," the acting registrar wrote.
This comes beside a directive from the University advising students to stay away from Olabisi Onabanjo University campuses for safety purposes. "Following the announcement by the Ogun State Government Of the indefinite closure of Olabisi Onabanjo University for security reasons, the University authorities hereby direct all students to stay away from the University campuses," the statement furthered.

Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, was declared closed indefinitely by the Ogun State government on Saturday, August 23. The closing occurred a day after the demand date given to students to cease a two-day series of massive protests against the new tuition fee scheme, which did reduce fees, but only toward the 2014-2015 school year and not the 2013-2014 session, as students requested. Governor Ibikunle Amosun met with some of the aggrieved students, and agreed to settle their demands within the week and set up a committee to monitor the situation.

Despite this, the power play between both parties continued, and with students failing to relent, Ogun State officials eventually decided to shut the university down. "We have no option than to order the immediate closure of all the campuses of Olabisi Onabanjo University to protect the students and other residents of the state and their property," Secretary to the Government, Adeoluwa Taiwo, said in a statement announcing the closure.

Today's announcement reads similarly, but promises a meeting of the Parents Forum and University administration to determine the way ahead.
