LAGOS HERITAGE WEEK BEGINS TODAY AS CARNIVAL HOLDS APRIL 1

Carnival is the high point of the week long activities of the Lagos Heritage Week. It will hold on Easter Monday, April 1, 2013. The theme for this year's celebration is "Bring Back Brazil"

The carnival parade will begin at Falomo, Ikoyi and culminate in a spectacle in Tafawa Balewa Square.

This year's edition will have over 12000 adults and young people beautifully costumed parading the streets of Ikoyi and Lagos Island with a grand parade at the TBS.
